Created a simple outline of how I wanted to gameboard cover to flow. Thought process was that I would add visual elements around the path (such as sponsors, activities, and services the Expo was offering).
First draft with markups and feed back from team. Since the event was happing in Orlando, FL we thought it would made more sense to give the game board context. The idea of it being placed in a theme park made the most sense.
